Welcome

The name Soroptimist comes from the Latin soror (sister) and optima (best), meaning “The Best for Women.”

Since the first club was founded in California in 1921, Soroptimists worldwide have worked to improve the lives of women and girls.

Founded on 18th May 1998, SI Lichfield and District is a passionate group of 37 women dedicated to making a positive difference locally and internationally.
