Soroptimist International of Greater London is part of a worldwide organisation of women, which is linked to the United Nations.

Welcome to SI Greater London

Celebrating our centenary in 2024, Soroptimist International Greater London (SIGL)  welcomes all women living or working in or around Greater London who are interested in promoting and improving the lives of women and girls. We are women of various interests, ages and backgrounds, united in our common mission to empower women and girls locally, nationally and internationally.

We are currently meeting via Zoom on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 7.30pm. If you are interested in joining, or would like to learn more, please email us at sigl.club@gmail.com.

Recent Activity

Soroptimist International Greater London (SIGL) is 100! We are the oldest club outside the Americas, and have a proud history of service to improving the life of women and girls locally, nationally and internationally. In our centenary year we look forward to lots of exciting and inspiring projects and events – stay tuned or get in touch!

If you are interested in joining us, we welcome you to contact us! We meet via zoom on the third Thursday of every month at 7.30pm. If you would like to attend, or if you would just like a chat about our projects and activities, please drop us an email at sigl.club@gmail.com.

In addition to monthly meetings, we often have a speakers from charities or on a topic related to our mission as well as joint events with other clubs in our region. Please see our diary of events page for more details.
